There’s something about unfamiliar surroundings that draws out one’s truest self.

The story and characters are foreign, the plot devoid of your “name.”

There is no choice but to be who you are and so discover yourself all over.

The allure is neither the destination nor journey.

It’s an externally expressive distancing of self from choreographed character.

So spread your mind across the miles of mountains and bury your fears beneath the ocean.

Try on the thoughts that were never the right time to wear and dawn a new name.

      1. Of course!
        Enjoyed it so much.
I like things that make me THINK. So tired of reading the same trite, wishy washy flowery stuff.
Not that I’m judging anyone lol.
But I like the way you write.

      2. Damn, that hits me right in the heart. That’s what I try to do with my writing. It means the world for someone to recognize that.

I’ve also found your writing to be a wonderful difference from all the rest. Incredibly powerful, passionate, and well written.

      3. It’s true though isn’t it?
Enough with the nature and flowers and trees and crap. I mean I like all that stuff too but write from a place that’s real at least.
Thank you so much for the compliment. I only write what I feel. I am literally incapable of anything else!
